"A Little Respect" was released in September 1988 on the Mute label. It was written by Vince Clarke and Andy Bell. The lyrics are a plea to a lover to show compassion and respect. Known as one of their signature song, taken from their third album The innocents the single reached number four on the UK charts.
Stop! Was one of the songs the Crackers International is a Christmas EP released in November 1988, in between the albums or The innocents (1988) and Wild (1989). The EP reached number-one in Denmark and Argentina, and peaked at number two in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
"Sometimes" is from the Wonderland album, released on 6 October 1986 as their fourth single overall. Written by band members Vince Clarke and Andy Bell, it typifies the Erasure the up-tempo dance-oriented pop tunes, accentuated by Clarke's phase distortion and analogue synths and Bell's lyrics about being in love.

It peaked at number six on the UK charts, and was the duo's eighth single overall and their fourth UK Top 10 single
“Take a chance” was covered by Erasure in 1992 as part of their ABBA esque EP with an additional ragga-style toast performed by MC Kinky added to the song. In a few countries, the cover was credited to "Erasure featuring Special K", due to MC Kinky referring to herself as "Special K" during the ragga rap. But was Erasure first and only number one in the UK…so far!
